Why do people consider Weston part of "Miami"? How come people don't mention Cooper City being a good neighborhood of "Miami", since it's actually closer to it than Weston. Is it because they have too many gringos there? Heck, it's pretty damn Jewish too, so I just don't understand why Weston is mentioned but the other SW Broward communities aren't.

One nice area is the Highland Oaks neighborhood...I'm not sure if it falls in Aventura or North Miami Beach.

It's not far from Aventura Mall. If I ever moved back home and had $ in my pocket South-Florida style (meaning I could afford a 3/4 of a million dollar home), I'd live there. Great folks, great schools.

I've also heard people calling Sunrise and Pembroke Pines part of Miami-Dade, too. I guess it's because those cities have large amounts of Hispanics, or large amounts of people from Miami-Dade that moved there.

Pembroke Pines I can understand. Sunrise is about as "Broward" as it gets.
