We may be relocating to Miami! Super excited but I am trying to figure out which neighborhoods to look at. We have a 6 year old who will be going into first grade. Currently I am looking in Coral Gables and Miami Beach (North Beach Elementary zone).

North Beach Elementary seems pretty straight forward. It does not appear to be a magnet/charter and if we have a home within that boundary, would he would be enrolled into that school?

I am unsure how to determine which school he would be zoned for in Coral Gables. There appears to be three public schools in that boundary, Coral Gables (controlled choice), Carver and Sunset.

My question is, if we live within the Coral Gables boundary, would he definitely go to one of these three schools?

Thank you.
