Any advice for the best route at 6:45-7:00 in the morning to get there by 8 AM during a weekday, on a weekly basis?

Google maps has me going either 95S, 95S/826 Palmetto, or the turnpike all the way down which is the most expensive I'm guessing. I know 95S is pretty bad but is it that bad at 7AM? Is there a way to reduce tolls but still avoid all the Miami traffic once I'm out of Broward? Thanks for any advice.

The zoo is just west of the turnpike. I would use that for sure. I only go on 95 or the Palmetto if it's an absolute necessity. Not sure how the traffic would be at that time. The only time I'm on the roads then is if I have to go to the airport.

I live 5 minutes west of the zoo,you can either just take the turnpike the whole way or if you come down from 95 and grab the Palmetto expressway(826)you can also reach the turnpike as after you pass Bird rd on the Palmetto you can merge unto the 874 expressway which connects you to the turnpike. Then get off the turpike at SW 152 st(exit16),turn right at 152 st and the zoo will be 5 blocks away.

I would probably take the turnpike the whole way. Catch the Turnpike west of you and then take the Homestead Turnpike Extension south all the way to Coral Reef Drive.

I would also take the turnpike the whole way, if you are out of your house by 6:45am you should not have many traffic problems unless there is an accident.

I would take the turnpike. It's worth the money to avoid I95.

I'd also take the turnpike and cough up the tolls. I-95 is usually a breeze at 7 and starts to pick up around 7:30, but the Dolphin and Palmetto can be unpredictable.

Toll saving alternative: I've also driven I-95 south then US1 south at that time with almost zero traffic, then you'd go west on 152nd. May not be not the fastest way, but it could work if you want to avoid the tolls in the morning (According to Google Maps this would cost you about 7 minutes). But DO NOT take this route back north in the afternoon.
