What will the weather be like during Thanksgiving? We are planning a vacation in Nov and was wondering would it still be a beach weather in Miami at Thanksgiving or would it be chilly out there? Also, are there typically any chances of hurriances hitting in Nov ?

Don't need to worry about hurricanes. Weather could get chilly but in all likely hood it won't. High 70s low 80s in the day low 70s at night. Water temp shouldn't be much cooler than I say 75 or so if it even gets that cool. Shouldn't rain much either. It's a nice time to come.

That what nice about south Miami Dade county, you can swim outdoors year round. I am tempted to put a swimming pool in my back yard but worry about liability for someone drowning in it.

The weather should be just perfect in November....not too hot, not cold. Probably mid to high 70's and lows in the high 50's to mid 60's. It is my favorite month in south Florida.

Average low for November is 70F, unless there is a cold front 50s wont be seen in November. 80s is more likely than 50s with the average high of 78F. I agree though it is a great time to come to Miami. You can enjoy the beach and other things where the heat makes horrible like the Everglades.

On a side note, there is a large gay event held in South Beach on Thanksgiving Weekend. I think it's called White Party or something......not my scene so I really don't have any info on the event..

The days should be about 80F, night around 71F. That's how it was when I was there two weeks ago. The water was 80F then as well.
