Miami - is it just like it's shown in Dexter? Mostly white people who prefer English? Wikipedia suggests that Miami is 90% Hispanic.

Miami is about 70% Hispanic.

Some of those Hispanic people are white. Some are not white.

Whether a particular Hispanic prefers Spanish over English usually depends on how long theyve been in the country, and how educated they are.

More education, more time in the US = better grasp of English.

Miami is mostly hispanic but not 90%. Latest census has Miami 65% hispanic, 19% black, 16% white, 2% asian. If you include the undocumented people then Miami hispanic population is higher than 65%.

Dexter isn't even filmed in Miami. Miami looks nothing like the scenes in dexter and Miami is 65% Hispanic. But remember many of those Hispanics are "white."

Dexter looks Cuban

Most of the people I've seen in that show look "hispanic". It's not until you hear their names that you assume they are "white".

Yes, he looks like any other person in Miami...no one would ever think he is a "gringo".
