They have the best blueberry shakes in FL. The cinnamon rolls are super good too. They are not Amish, they are Germans.

They are German Baptists. Most of them go back to Indiana for the summer. The sign in front of their store says "Lord Willing we will open November 13". I drive by there every day going to and coming from my job. Wow, how I would love one of the gooey, yummy sticky buns RIGHT NOW!!!

They are on S.W. 248 Street (Coconut Palm Drive), just east of S.W. 162 Avenue.

Cinnamon rolls made by the Amish are really good. Also, their natural strawberry milk shakes are sooooo good.... Homestead has a few of these farmers markets run by Amish.

I thought they were the Dunkers also. I remember going there in the 80s with my parents to buy sticky buns, white mountain bread, and of course those fantastic strawberry milkshakes too. The school kids from Redlands Elementary School across the street would go there too with their teacher and line up for the milkshakes also. Wow, those sure were the days!

I need me some sticky buns! And there are not many other places (other than Robert is Here) where you can get a fresh, handmade mango milkshake! Yum!
And for the record, they are not in Miami, but in Homestead. This website actually has a lot of information on the Knaus Berry Farm and some of the other great hidden treasures in "Miami's countryside".

This year, Knaus Berry Farm is set to open on November 11. They are already plowing their fields, preparing for planting. They are German Baptists, from the midwest, not Amish. I see that Burr's Berry Farm on S.W. 216 Street are preparing to plant their strawberry field. I love their fresh strawberry ice cream. They have the best hotdogs too!
