Agreed.

For a neat take on a Cuban Sandwich (and a gut buster to boot), I always enjoyed taking people to Sarussi.

It's weird because I know a few people who think Cuban food, along with Colombian, is the worst in Latin America...I love it though!

I was in such Versailles and it didn't impress me that pretty basic menu at all especially by that depressing ambient of old Cubans speaking about the recalcitrant fidel's topic till kill u of boredom while drinking that hyper-concentrated trots called "cafecito".. eww..

I prefer, Colombian, Brazilian or Argentinian's haute cuisine.

For a good pork sandwich, I like Esquina De Lechon on NW 87th Ave / NW 58th St - next to the Shell Station.
Thanks for that. Office is nearby and pass that corner every weekday. I wil stop in and have one.

Molina's in Hialeah. There's another on Coral way, but I've never been there. I think Islas Canarias on Coral Way and 137 is the best.

Cuban food in Cuba is awful (except in Havana), but not in Miami. There should be a subdivision called Miami-Cuban food. The same happens with Jewish food, Delis are exclusively American.

Sarussi? Is that restaurant the one with a neon sign with a guy cutting a cow? "La vaquita"? 8tSt. and the 70's?
