The name of the TV show hosted by Bo Griffin was "The Pulse of Miami" on WSVN 7. As for Debbie Harry I had her album in my collection. She was very hot. Here's another version of what you probably heard. 1987 was great year for music.

This was an emotional video showing Noel (known for "Silent Morning") reuniting with his daughters after being separated for many years. A little known fact when Noel first started out he was doing some landscaping work while living in Florida.

I didn't know that. I have Silent Mourning on my ITunes and jam it all the time!!!

Thanks for identifying the show and for posting the remix of Debbie's song. That's definitely the version that Power 96 used to play. I even remember that I once taped it off the radio onto a cassette tape. Those were the days.

And did you notice how empty the Miami skyline looked in that video of the show? Today's skyline is full of highrises.
