Are there any Germans, having kids attending Sunset Elementary School Miami? Is it difficult to get in? Do the kids have problems with the school hours lasting almost all day, and then more homework( 4 to 5 grade???). Was it easy maybe to go back to Germany later?

The German population in southeast Florida numbers about a half million people which isn't huge compared to other immigrant populations but still significant.
We do love our Germans!

Do not forget there is still a German American club that hosts events on Miller Road near my parent's home by the turnpike. Quite a few of my friends in the Miami area have one of both parents of German descent, as I do also.
