It's official. After calculating the mileage on my gasoline powered car I have determined that the out of control placement of 4-way stop signs and traffic circles has cut my city gas mileage about 2%. Also my brake linings are wearing at an accelarated rate. Does anyone know if a formal complaint can be filed with the EPA or some other agency to get this to their attention?

Perhaps the DOT could help? So far I have not been able to get an explanation from Miami-Dade County as to why there are so many all way stops when 5 years ago there were almost none.

tallrick,

sorry to hear about your troubles with the round-abouts. I say we all march on city hall and demand elevated trains. Then we can get rid of our cars
