I can't recommend you one because thankfully I have never needed one. Now might be the time to worry about your mother. You can worry about suing the doctor latter. I hope your mother is doing better.

You can read opinions from actual clients there. You don't need to sue the guy ASAP. But sooner is better to preserve evidence. I've never used one an I never worked for one or dealt with one. But there are plenty out there. It's also a BIG decision if its a good case. Choosing the right attorney WILL determine if you win or lose. So don't rush into it.

Have you used any attorney before? A will? Buying a house? Give former attorneys a call they would be able to give you the best reccomdations. If not use avvo. That's what I would suggest.
