I am moving from New York to Miami got a great job in the sylvester cancer center. I am looking for a neighborhood that is safe and affordable and no more than 1000 for rent. The lower the better. I have an apartment in NY that I have rented however I want to make sure to get a cheap apartment in case my apartment does not get rented for another year and I get stuck paying two apartments. If I can find in the 800 range that would be great. Once I rent my apartment in NY for another year I will be okay to live in another area as i can save money my first year.

Can you suggest neighborhoods that are safe that I can find apartments for 1000 or less. I don't mind a studio.

I am latina from NYC and I speak spanish. I just want to make sure I am in a safe area. I am 33.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Sigh, an apartment somewhere safe in Miami is going to cost you AT least this amount.

You can find a studio or efficiency for anywhere 600 to 800 utilities included depends on the area.

I will update more during the week.
