If Miami is hated so much why stay? (Kendall, Mayo: for sale, buy)

I LOVE MIAMI, THE WEATHER, THE PEOPLE. It's classy.
I live and work in Miami, have all my life.
It's interesting and I always love coming home to the great restaurants, easy ambiance.
Miami-Love it or Leave it!
Not everybody here is on vacation.
P.S. I have a great condo, looking out over the bay and ocean.

I have said this over and over as truly feel its true -Miami's problems all are a result of some of the worse politicians in N.America.

Truly do nothing lot of mostly criminals but that is what the people have loyalty to and want .
Even the deplorable drivers in a few weeks time would be a memory with a monster ticket blitz for reckless drivers-those that go through red lights, stop signs, don't use turn signals,etc.
That's one solution to a problem .

I can give you more that relate to bus service,etc but in the end its same thing = DO NOTHING politicians who couldn't care less.

I agree Catskills is good for farmers I use to buy honey,etc there and great for winter sports but yes its boring .

Miami has way way more to do but Catskills is better run .

everyday i fear for my life with my baby in the backseat of the car, these drivers down here do not follow the rules of the road at all, i driven in D.C and New York and South Florida has got the worst drivers, the cops don't do sh*t, but yet they want to pull you over for dark tints on your car, absolutely ridiculous, and most of the cops down here are fat and disgusting

I agree WORSE drivers in America . Turn signals mean nothing most don't use them- speed limit is ignored - red light means go through it for another 5 seconds- stop sign means go - reckless drivers who weave in and out of traffic while texting, if you want to park in disabled spot by all means no big deal etc.

The police here have no concept of the traffic laws and like EVERYTHING else the assorted Mayors,politicians couldn't care less.
Overly tinted windows violate the law than ticket them.

Your thinking like most in Miamians do which is -Why enforce some laws while other more severe violations are taking place . I say enforce them all .

I always hear that from Miamians -Why enforce turn signal laws while someone is going through a red light -why enforce red light laws when someone is going 40 mph ,etc,etc.
Well, why not than just stay on same path we are on and nothing is enforced .

Enforce ALL the laws . Overly tinted window is a violation thus ticket them .

I go to a gym at off hours when lots cops thereand they talk shop.
The people here/drivers aren't stupid they KNOW the traffic laws but they also KNOW they can do what they want when they want due to the do nothing chain of command and reluctancy of police to ticket anyone .

Take the same driver from here put them in main avenue in PA and this nonsense comes to an abrupt ending as the police there will make sure of that. Here ALL drive bad Hispanic-Black-White,etc as some think its just one group but its EVERY group. Its a free for all.

To me this makes it even worse but again enforce all laws including overly tinted windows.

true, and that's the reason i don't have overly tinted windows because i don't want to be pulled over and ticketed,well i hope to move out of this hell hole soon, raising a kid here sucks, it's not a family oriented place, unless you have loads of money to buy a big house and put your young one into private schools, this place has totally drained all my emergency funds, but i'm trying to get the hell out of here fast, like maybe next week if my guy friend comes down and bring his truck, and go back to D.C. especially now Obama will be there, whoopi!!!!!
