It's been the Actor's Playhouse since 1995, they put on a lot of great live performances there.
The exterior has been on the Registry of Historic Places for many years from what I understand, and therefore cannot be modified.

Goldstein's Pizza across from the UM had the best Pizza at 12:30 am friday nights when you were watching the Midnight Special and one very stoned delivery guy would be at your door to deliver it to you. The Orange Bowl was a very special place back then but not as much as the Grove was because there you could see how the pizza delivery guys got that way! 8^)

What about Planet Ocean in Key Biscayne for field trips? It is now a charter school next to the Marine Stadium...

The rink days remembered...
There was a great Pizza place in the sunland mall... Going over to BK if I had a few extra bucks, Meeting the most beautifull girl ever created by man and god!!! Brothers two... after skating, road trips for racing & shuffling, drinking shlitz malt liq tall boys on the switch box listening to Slow Ride & double vision in the car... on the back side of the rink, getting toasted while resurfacing the rink floor, snodens for jumping off the bridge & swimming... Hidden lakes and houseless roads for extra curricular activities. Being pulled home on my skates up 152nd & later on racing out of control on 137th ave.

Anyone remember the Keg North on Bird Road, next to the stoner shop, then they had Keg West out on west Sunset, and then Keg South?...I have been gone for so long, but I hear that Keg South is still there?
Man............. these threads are really awakening my memories of Miami..
I grew up in the Westchester area, when Westchester Country Club was there. Went to Coral Park before Gloria even came to Miami.
The Pool was in the shape of a W, and there was that mini golf course/driving range on 8th street between 82 nd ave and Galloway.. Oh.. wasnt there a Chevron station at that corner????...many times I had a hot dog at the tiny little food stand while putting....
WOW

The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Coral Gables on Minorca and then it became a small movie theatre for artsy-type films. What's there now ???
