Wow Boystown BMX track. My friends and I use to go there to practice racing after school all the time and then watch racing on Friday nights. Miss those good days....

Did anyone here go to Calusa Elementary Schools and Arvida Middle School back in the 80's. I also lived in "The Crossings". Use to play tennis, fish in the man made lake, play football and stuff. Miss those days!

Castle Park on friday and saturday nights break dancing and music, Randolphs, madi grass, sneakers, club 1235, 5th streets, randolphs, Madi gras, bass station.Drive in movie theater near where publix is now US1 and before you get to 152 st. Flippers game centers near US1 124th and on 136 st. Crafts store off 124 st and US1 a small convinient store which died when the owner passed. Utotem stores with the totem pole in front where you could return your bottle for 10 cents. Sunnyland summer camp where each camp would compete against each other in different activities such as baseball ect. Bowl O Mat bowling off US1 near 136 st now is a walgreens. ahh if I remember more i'll post. I use to ride my bmx bike when they were first building the falls and Large hills of dirt was there.

If anyone remember me I was very popular at Kendall skating rink in my younger years lol . kicked butt in races and shuffling

i remember kendall skating rink!@ i remember the lights with the huge plastic ball fixture around them, the "stick figures" of people skating on the walls. the small gameroom area just past the food area. man i wish someone had pictures of this! i also remember riverboat playhouse and seeing "flash gordon" at the theater in the mall next to it. i miss it so much!

anyone remember dairy queen on US-1 i believe? i remember going there and getting ice cream at the serving window and seeing a guy with 2 ferrets with him and saying he was the "ferret wrangler" from the movie "beastmaster"!

random i know. i also remember seeing return of the jedi at the wemetco theater next to golden triangle where my dad would get fishing supplies. i also remember seeing baseball games at mark-light stadium with my dad.

anyone remember "grant center hospital" located in the middle of the fields in dade county? i have been looking for pictures of that place for years.

Default other things i remember....

going to K-LAND to watch my brother's soccer games, and playing there myself.

going to the Amish bakery where they would have the largest strawberries and the best cinnamon rolls around!

George's sub shop (getting the cheeseburger sub & choc. milkshake)

going to Devon-aire elementary school.

getting milk at the drive-through convenience store next to the K-LAND

going to castle park on weekends

seeing all the hot air balloons in the sky as my family would drive to go fishing in our boat.

school field trips to Venetian Pool

going to "santa's enchanted forest" (we used to call it santa's expensive forest!)

anymore i can think of i'll put later.

i used to work at the little "mom & pop" video store in the crossing shopping center. also went to little ceaser's pizza alot there too!
