Miami natives, don't really care for northerners (regionally), and really "dislike" new York boys. We bully them.
Miami boys find California confusing as far as neighborhoods go because their lower income areas still look like suburbs to us.
Miami boys hate when outsiders call south beach Miami and bring up the beach and coral gables and the like when they hear where were from.
Miami boys play football, hard, life and death type.
The only other areas Miami boys tend to let slide as being considered "being from Miami", is opa locka, carol city.
Miami boys consider new Orleans number 2, after us of course and usually they feel the opposite.
Miami boys eat conch. Up until i left Miami i never knew how nobody outside Miami know what is, even the Broward kids who wanna be like us so much.
Miami boys hate when Broward kids claim us like we **** with them or something.
Miami boys grow they hair out with pride and call it "wolfing".
Miami boys get "golds". That mean Gold teeth.
Miami boys grow dreads. All type of dreads, we been doing that before any city in the states.
Miami boys don't care at all, or really think about the rest of Florida. So imagine how little we do think about other states when we think of them.
Miami boys hate false information being spread about them, like on this thread and in this forum.
Miami boys are hungry. We use the phrase "you in the water with the sharks". That mean everybody looking for dogs, for a weak link, for a "duck", something easy to come up on.
Miami boys can use one word, and it mean seven other things. But when people ask "well how do you know", we tell them "it's Miami ****". You gotta grow up with that. Saying stuff like, tone/facial expression/body language/discussion/common sense will only confuse yall even more.
Just listen to Trick's opening statement on the fields Miami documentary that came out recently to get a little more on us Miami boys.
Ummmm.....thanks for your insight....but was this English?

Yes it was. He was just making cultural references in a dialect that you cannot relate to. That's all.

Traveled a great deal and lived here and there so do not mind anyone from anywhere and have an opinion mind.

I save my judgments for when a person acts or talks and then treat them individually.

Most avoid "tourist"..american turistas..why? many are rude and offensive..and are always judging..and trying to transform the place into a gritsville.

I remember lots of tourists insulting miamiams just as the most natural thing on earth...Tourists here..in Spain do the same..but they speak rough dialects..and nobody understands them or cares..not the case in Miami..people there underdtand tourists..or english speakers..roughly the same..very well..even if they pretend they not..as french do.
