Gotcha, I like the fact we're called the Latin American capital and at the same time a US territory/ county, it's like the best of both worlds well for Hispanic person mostly ^^

Hi Jon Connor,

Thank you so much for sharing your honest and such great insights with the community. I haven't lived in San Francisco, but I'm sure that I don't need to. I can feel your disppointment and you boringness. Low tax is not food for the soul. Keep us posted about your findings, I'm interested. Good luck!

Karla

Doral is one of those far north-western suburbs of Miami, in comparison to the Bay Area, it would be like living in the east bay, something like brentwood.

If you wanted city life, why move there? If your job is in Doral, you don't need to live there. Anyways, move to Brickell, or something like that. I'd say South Beach, but your commute would be terrible.

It is funny because I moved from Miami to Philadelphia.
And while I am used to live here, I still do not like Philly.
I used to live in Aventura, near Aventura Mall!

If you do not like Doral, try to live in Midtown or Miami Beach (I am not talking about places where there are obnoxious people, but there are plenty neighborhood in Miami Beach that is nice).

I agree, sounds like you need to move east! Get out of Doral! Depending on your budget there are options that are affordable and close to the city.

PM me if you want more details.

OP, im so sorry you live in Doral. I must agree with you though. Doral is utterly boring and relatively ugly compared to eastern parts of Miami.... it's a matter of choosing one of the most boring and bland suburban neighborhoods in Miami... I think if you move east, you'd find it to be much more fulfilling.

OP should just move back as the saying in the Old West was "It is all your own fault and none of my own"
