Default Moving to Doral: need help with Cable TV, Broadband and Phone services

Hello All! I'll be relocating to Doral, FL within 3 weeks from now and wanted to know what would you guys recommend in terms of cable TV, residential phone and high speed internet services for this area (zip code 33178) in terms of pricing and reliability. I have looked to a few web pages from major companies, but some do not offer much details. Can anyone share experiences? Thanks very much!

Hmmm...I use Atlantic Broadband for both cable and high-speed Internet. I have basic cable and the "preferred" Internet package (kind of the "middle" one in terms of price and speed). My bill is around $95 or $100 each month. Haven't had any problems with the company so far, although they did send someone out to install the cable and Internet who spoke NO English whatsoever. We had to call the company and have them translate between the two of us. This probably isn't a company problem though, but yet more of a Miami problem...

Welcome to South Florida!

Comcast is pretty good. I use them for cable and internet. My dog chewed up the remote twice and although the line was long, they replaced it free of charge both times. Service was prompt and reliable.

I tried doing the Comcast all in one but the numbers didn't work out...

I use DirecTV for cable because of all the HD channels they have.. Love it...

I use Bellsouth (now AT&T) for DSL... They have a service that they don't advertise where you can get DSL service only with no need for a local line... In essence, you always needed to get a local phone in order to get DSL, even if it was the cheapest service it was $20+/month.. Now you can get DSL without the need for telephone service... You need to ask for it.. I have it so I know it exists but not alot of other people do...

I've used Vonage for my local phone for about 2 years and it's awesome... never had an issue.
