I wish the temps would stay 60 to 70 all the time in Florida---Its nice to have that break from record heat!

Yeah this is the nice season from this point up to April, and hopefully if the weather blogs are correct perhaps we will a colder winter this year.

They do, as long as you have good air conditioning. Nowhere on earth has great weather all of the time. Not even Ecuador.

Yes I hope so and then we can get ready for an active hurricane season in the near future, we are long overdue for some summer excitement!

Although I do NOT want a hurricane, I do agree we are long overdue for one, and due for a big one soon. Wilma was a walk in the park compared to Andrew and it's been what 22 years now and we get a big one about every 25 to 30 years.

All those folks that moved to south Florida in the last ten years have no idea what to expect.

exactly, a lot of these transplants never felt Andrew or even Wilma to really know how it is to be a long time local. i love living by the beach (3 blocks) and prefer not to be BY the beach. Once we get a nasty hurricane they will know why
