They blame it on the owners not performing oil changes often enough but how come it doesn't happen on the other engines made by them.

That thing was quite fast and well-souped up version is said to beat mustang and interior despite its two seather is surprisingly roomy.
Those old Honda CRX's are starting to gather a cult following. I saw a video about a guy in California that is the original owner of one with 100,000 miles in immaculate condition and is always being asked if he is willing to sell it. I think the dealer was also interested in it as well.

Unfortunately mine was affected by the Acura transmission problem. The first transmission failed at 6K miles and was replaced by a refurb, which also only lasted for 10K miles. At the end of the 48 month lease, I was on my 5th transmission.

OMG I had one too!! I LOVED that car until someone stole it and burned it to a crisp. I cried like a baby when I saw it at the tow yard

Acura is the "cheap" luxury brand nowadays. Their cars don't compare at all anymore.

Could be, I wouldn't know. This is just what I was told by some of my Hispanic coworkers in Miami. I figure they were in a position to know more about it than I did.

We're Honda fans, and had a couple of Integras back in the day, and loved them. The last one we had was a 2000 Integra, which drove and looked like a new car when my daughter totaled it in 2011, think it had about 130,000 miles on it at that point. We had
planned to keep it and drive it till it wouldn't go anymore, but had to give it a decent burial instead.

I still miss that car, but considering the horrific accident it was in ( caused by a speeding wreckless driver on I-75), we can only be grateful my daughter and the other folks in that accident were not seriously hurt. And that the guy who caused the accident had decent insurance.

In Asia, they are actually marketed as Honda.

That's not really true. Only in Japan. But that's normal, Infiniti is Nissan in Japan. But in China, it's Acura and Infiniti.
