Default A really fun thing to do in Miami !

I have been reading some posts about people asking what can they do in Miami. I lived in Miami for over 30 years and still live in South Florida. One of best things that I myself did and wondered to myself why I had not done it earlier was taking a SPEED boat ride on the the Thriller. Thriller Miami | Powerboat | Sightseeing Tours What a blast it was. They did an excellent job with it. It's a nice long ride and part of it is speeding parallel to South Beach Miami Vice style, and part of it is a slowing down by Star Island and them pointing out celebrity homes. It takes you to a bunch of neat and beautiful places. I really highly recommend it. There is another speed boat in Bayside called the BLASTER...but I heard and could see for myself that it was not as fast. Thriller was one of those things that after your done and you are disembarking, you keep thinking to yourself that it was worth the money and more ! Something that I rarely feel now a days.

That's a great price for that much fun and excitement!
I'd jump on that in a heartbeat!

Thanks for the idea, it is not too expensive for middle-class locals. I have actually been trying to fix my boat to make that long trip again!

Nice info!
This is one of the things that should have more marketing in Miami. Attractions like that keep happy citizens and tourists. This is the first time I hear about it. How come?

I might also suggest the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi, or if Miami has an equivalent water taxi, then that.

Being on the water gives a nice view. Being OVER the water is even nicer. There is a place that offers ultralight flights around the bay. The ultralights have pontoons and take off right from the water. They fly low so you get a good view of everything. They are based on Key Biscane right across the causway.
