Barton G is one of my favorites on the Beach.. Ate at the Tuscan Steakhouse and it was great. In the Gables, we like Gastronomia, Puchetta's, Bugatti's, Pascal's, and Restaurant St Michel's... Close to the Gables, Chocolate on Coral Way and Romeo's Cafe.
For some really cool do the brunch at Biltmore on Sunday's (very, very good)

Since I moved away from Coral Gables six years ago....... I don't know if this restaurant is still there in the downtown area, but my friend and I still talk about their DUCK dinner; it would be worth a 3,000 mile trip to eat it again: Fritz & Franz for the best German food, etc.

I always liked Flemings in Coral Gables. Do they still do that great prime rib thing on Sunday nights. Also, I like Garcia's which is right on the river at NW 3 street. Not a great neighborhood, but good seafood. The request was for fine dining, which Garcia's is not. But Fine Dining is overrated, good food is not. Unfortunately, Miami doesn't have a lot of diversity. There are a lot of good steak Italian seafood and latin restaurants (We went to a Mexican place in Mary Brickell village that was nice and fancy. But the food wasn't as good as garcia's or fishbone.) but that's about it.

"Old Lisbon" is my favorite restaurant in Miami!!! It is off 16th Ave? and Coral Way and the food, atmosphere and people are the best I have experienced since moving downtown two years ago. Great wines, appetizers, and the tile mosaics are amazing. Guys take your gals there now!!! You can thank me later!
