Greetings:

Committed to a blind date a few weeks ago for a meaningless preseason NBA game tonight while the Yankees are playing a meaningful playoff game.

Anyone been to the Dewars Club and know if they have the ability to show other events (baseball playoffs, NFL football) on their TV's in the buffet/bar area??

If not, what is the best sports bar near the arena in case I bail at halftime?

Thanks

Closest would be Bayside (hooters / chilis or other type places in that center) or walk down to Biscayne Tavern for a classier place in the lobby of the YVE Hotel (or whatever the hotel is called now).

I'm sure one of the high rises across the street has a restaurant with TV as well...

They showed the game on one of the televisions in the Dewars Club.

I ended up having to go the bathroom quite frequently (at least that's what I told her) so I could catch part of the game and got text alerts on my iPhone when a run was scored.

No planned interruptions from my couch tonight for Game 5.
