Hello guys, I'll be moving back to Miami and I'm looking for a safe middle class/suburban area to live and someone mentioned this place. Personally I've never heard of the area despite not living that far away from it when I lived in Miami. I have heard of Richmond Heights but these are 2 completely different areas. Anyone been there and know what the are is like? Looking forward to your inputs, thanks.

Richmond West is alright, safe and decent too; albeit not really 'that' nice nor convenient (it's pretty far from things, and the neighborhood itself doesn't have enough amenities). It's an area on the shadow of neighboring Country Walk and Three Lakes, which are nicer and better located (I would look into these two areas for middle class suburban areas in your case).

Thanks for the input. And yeah I figured they were low on amenities since there's not a single discussion on the internet about that place. It does seem pretty safe (lower crime than national average/State by a decent margin and especially compared to Miami in general and decently priced which is why I was looking at it over Country Walk.

Yep, that's true, it's very safe and also you can get a better deal there than neighboring areas as it's a little further south. Also the best area in the neighborhood is the one neighboring Country Walk between 152 St and 168 St, from 147 Ave to 157 Ave. It's a quite nice, pleasant area - underrated.

If you go further south you can find also Cutler Bay, which is near US1 and Old Cutler Road, which has great homes at good prices. The areas mentioned Of Country Walk, Three Lakes most have homes with associations as opposed to Cutler Bay and Richmond West both will have some but not as much or none at all. If you like those types of communities keep in mind that you'll have to pay some type of association fee.
