One of the things I love about Miami Beach is the Art Deco architecture. Is Miami Beach the most place in the US with the most "extensive" Art Deco architecture? When I say this I mean the most number of buildings, etc...?

It may or may not be the most extensive, given that Miami Beach is rather small place. However, it may very well be the most consolidated collection of ArtDeco in the States.

Thanks. That's what I thought. So glad all those buildings were preserved.

New York has an extensive array of art deco skyscrapers dating to the 30's, but Miami I think has more low rises.

The Art Deco district on South Beach contains 960 historic buildings.
There is no other place in the US (or possibly the world) that is comparable in regards to the amount of Art Deco architecture.
