Wow, everyone has fancy cars in Miami. That's news to me, and I've lived here all my life. Maybe some people just see what they want to see. The exagerrated coments and generalized statements are actually comical. It shows how bitter some people are.

There's one in the Design District on Biscayne Blvd. I think it is a BP if I'm not mistaken. There's also one on Biscayne Bld near 145th ave (somewhere near the Costco - can't remember the exact location) - but it was broken the last time I went about three weeks ago. That's where I get my "fancy" Honda Fit washed.

There is one located on Miller Drive (SW 56th Street) just one block Southwest of Ludlam (SW 67 Avenue) close to South Miami High.

Another one that I know of is located about a half mile south of SW 168th Street in Perrine, on the East side of US 1, by the Car Stero Store located there.

The Busy Bee on 103 and Biscayne Blvd (Miami Shores) is very good. $5 for drive through, includes vacuum and floor mat cleaners. Or you can use the car wash bays for the same and do it yourself.

Even better is the Happy Hour Deal between 6-8PM. It's only $3 then.

I go to that one also. 103 & Biscayne. The self-service stalls where you use coins and spray down your car manually is only $2. What a bargain. It is my ritual to visit this place on my return trips from Costco, which is 40 blocks north of there and also filled with ridiculous bargains.

So there are only 3 self serve car washes in Miami, a city of 2.5 million people? I grew up in a suburb of 10,000 people and we had 2 self serve car washes and an electronic one at a gas station. I seem to remember taking my car to the Ultra-Deluxe mucho macho car wash on US1 and Bird Road, $25 if I remember.... Good thread
