Calling all Miami Lovers and Haters! (Hollywood, Kendall: rent, lease, work)

Miami Lovers and Haters Unite!

All of those who actually live here (lovers, haters and lurkers alike), who are you and where do you live? What do you do, what are your interests, and do you love, like, hate or just put up with Mimai/Broward? I guess you could call this a census of sorts - I'm just curious who all of us interesting characters are.

I have to admit I'm actually starting to feel like this is a community, despite our strong differences of opinion. I guess that's what makes this forum so interesting and addictive. I'm curious if you all feel the same.

I'l go first. I live in North Beach. I work in training in Hollywood. I'm 41 years old, caucasian and married. I like it here.

Female, 44 yrs old, hispanic and married with 2 kids. Moved to Miami from NYC since I was 21 (fresh out of college) on a military move. Now work in Coral Gables for an international consumer good products company, live in east Kendall. I HATE IT HERE, but should be moving out of Florida in approximately 2-3 years.

I'm from Amsterdam and 28 years old, go to miami 2 times a year and love it (miami beach) hope to move sometime soon but not miami though, would be broward.

what do i do: student
what are your interests: art, philosophy
do you love, like, hate, or just put up with miami/broward: i put up with it, i don't have a choice in living here, this is where my parents live.

I use to live in Miami I moved when I was 19 now I am 21. I'm unemployed/student my hobbies include napping and lounging around. I hated Miami thats why I moved .
