Did anyone else see this? I actually got sick to my stomach. Those guys are talking about how they have made efforts to cut pollution, yet two more 4-way stop signs popped up at intersections near my home. They talk about trees planted yet Miami looks more barren than ever. They talk about all the improvements made in the last few years, yet the quality of life has dropped exponentially. I for one would like to get on that show and challenge them with the facts. Is anyone else totally disgusted with nonsense like this? I would also ask Mr Ruvin to do his job and fix the court system. That is a total disgrace in Miami-Dade county.
cbs4.com - Harvey Ruvin Raps For A Cooler Earth Hypocrites, disgusting. I will think of that today as I pollute more in my old car stopping at unneccessary stop signs and traffic circles. |

I think Manny Diaz has done a great job for Miami as well as Carlos Alvarez, who is basically god-sent for Miami-Dade.

Manny Díaz is the intermediary for developers, crooked politicians higher up and special interest. He has basically pimped Miami from day one. He has done NOTHING for the city, the speculative boom would have happened if we had an inflateable doll elected as mayor.
The tree issue really burns me. They have planted trash trees all over and then they don't water or maintain them...they dry up and die. The city has become astronomically expensive, the city has left its working residents behind...it is a shame. Alvarez is OK...nothing to write home about. |
