Lol. I appreciate the politically correctness. But I'm black so I can tell it like it is. Watch this video to find out about the people that occupy south beach on memorial day weekend.

Coconut Grove, Brickell, Downtown, Miracle Mile, Main Street in Miami Lakes, Midtown, Design District, even Dadeland, Village at Merrick Park and Dolphin Mall can be considered hot spots. South Beach is definitely NOT the only hotv spot in Miami.

Im latina and love hip hop and a wide variety of music. I live in miami and last year someone got shot on memorial weekend in south beach. Its packed with bad news and fights always break out. I live 5 min from the beach and i havent been to south beach for any big event in a very long time! I dont like the crowds that migrate there. Listen the hood is right over the bridge and Miami is city and hood what more can u expect. I suggest you go past broward for some fun naples boca raton we are thinking of going to the keys this year =)

Typical white people over exaggerating urban beach weekend as usual, come down, you'll be alright.

There is plenty of things to do if hip hop isnt your thing either, don't get it confused.
