What are your favorite restaurants in the Miami area?

I don't care if it's a shed in the hood or a fancy restaurant in a tourist area, the only thing I care about is the taste. I really don't care about the ambience. I'll have a car, so it doesn't matter what neighborhood. I'm looking for any cuisine, anything that is good, I like them all. No national chains please lol. Ethnic food preferred, but any cuisine is welcomed.

Thanks!

Taste Only and in no order, prices all over the chart. Might add to this at a later date.

Nusr-et: Burger (international chain but very good)
Batch: Burger
Maroosh: Lebanese
Call Me Gaby: Italian
Consentido: International/fusion
Bulla Gastrobar: Spanish ham and eggs, smoked salmon Montaditos
Fil’ia and DC Pie: Pizza
Fiola: high end Italian
Abba Telavivian: Israeli
River Oyster Bar: Scallops
Contessa: Italian (Major Food Group, but good and better than Carbone).
Zucca: Italian
Los Felix and Talavera: Mexican
Uchi and Makoto: Sushi
Bonding: Thai (same owner as Lung Yai Thai Tapas)
Hutong, Komodo, Novikov: Peking Duck
Bugatti: Italian
Leku: Basque
Mandolin Aegean: Greek/Turkish
Shahs of Kabob (Doral): Persian

Scratch Maroosh

Just tried going for lunch and looks like they had a failed Board of Health notice posted on the door. Schmucks. If you want Lebanese try Amal in Coconut Grove instead.

I heard good things about Amal. I have friends that live in the Grove.

Be sure to hit the rooftop there after dinner

Koko is a brand new Mexican restaurant that just opened next to/near Sadelle’s in the Grove—same group that owns Talavera….across the street from Sadelle’s is a Mexican seafood place I need to try called Aida. I have been to Los Felix and like it.
