Miami area newspaper?
Can anyone tell me what the bigger circulation Miami area newspaper would be for a Sunday paper? I mean the name of the paper. I'm looking to place and ad and want the most bang for my buck.
I'm specifically looking to find out what the big Sunday edition type newspaper is.
Any help is appreciated

You have to check the numbers. The Sun Sentinel also publishes a Miami edition, although it is a Ft. Lauderdale newspaper. Depending on whether you want to hit just Miami or a larger portion of S. Florida you have to decide on The Herald or The Sun Sentinel.

If you are looking for your ad to sell in Miami-Dade County only, stick with the Miami Herald -- it's not the only game in town, but by far the biggest, as previous posters have said. Look at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel if you want your audience to include Broward County. The Sun-Sentinel sells three times as many papers in Broward as the Herald, which really doesn't have a big Broward presence north of I-595. If you're looking still further north, to Pallm Beach County, there's the Palm Beach Post, which is pretty dominant up there.

I think the Miami Herald has a bigger grasp of south florida. The Sun-Sentinel is much smaller and almost ignores Dade county, its local section is almost all Broward and Palm Beach, its website only has links to Brwoard/Palm beach stories. While Miami Herald seems like a paper that catches both counties more farely and its also bigger.

Sunpost is a Miami Beach newspaper.
New Times is also a local paper.
Miami Herald is obviously the biggest.
