who needs latin culture when 50 percent of the island is american and 50 percent is japanese. it has an amazing amount of japanese culture and sophistication and looks spotlessly clean everywhere you go.
miami is dirty and disguisting in many places and many places are run down.

Yet, only Americans visit Hawaii, while Miami is famous in Europe and South America!

what about all those japanese, chinese and filipinos?
and while usually you cant get decent mexican food over there last time i went i saw some mexican guys selling tamales on the side of the road.

I can't find the actual numbers of tourists, but Japan and America, Japan might have more tourists visiting Hawaii than the US, IMO.

What do you have against WASPs and Asians, you seem to use that term derogatively.

Hawaii is one of the prettiest places on this planet, everyone should visit, avoid Oaho though, too touristy.

If I have to travel that far, I much rather visit Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles or French Polinesia.

Americans don't even know the existence of those places and certainly if they did, they would not know where they are located on a map.

As far as places close by I happily take the Caribbeans, which are simply awsome thanks to the latin atmosphere.

Well i would say Hawaii is just as famous as Miami if not more but is suprising how many people dont realise Hawaii is part of the States.
