Miami School Of Art and Design (University: schools, university, professionals)

Can anyone give me any info on this school? Pro's or con's? I've had my eye on it for a while, any help appreciated.

Im guessing your talking about the International University of Art and Design. My nephew just got into that school. First of all its pretty pricey. The school has a great rep, the fashion school is pretty important on a world scale, forgot the reason just remember hearing that. I dont know much else about it but Ive heard plenty of good things and people soughting out to get in.

I can tell you from a hiring manager's perspective, it is a major step-up from the The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale.
I've had guys work for me who graduated from there and they had relevant, real and useful skill-sets. The ones I keep in touch with (3 out of I believe 4) are STILL employed and skilled graphics professionals.

I once interviewed nearly 50 people from AI and only found 1 person close to worth hiring ... and she needed some additional skills.
