Last time was in 1978 when I was in elementary school. I have been boating more that that but stay undercover or boat a night, my favorite time to go boating.

Every time i go to the beach I end up in a bar with a $100 dollar tab.. I haven't gone in a couple months.. and come to think of it, I haven't actually made it to the sand in the 4 months I've been here.

I go in spurts...I might not go for a month, then I'll go one day and I'm hooked for 4 days in a row, then I take a month break and it starts again. I do however, use my community's outdoor jacuzzi almost every night. It's really nice to be able to walk out at midnight in board shorts.

You can go to the beach without getting skin cancer. Go during a time of day when the sun is not too strong...

I have lived here for over 30 years and if I go to the beach 4 or 5 times in a YEAR that is a lot... I am not a fan... It's just the mission to get there that bugs me...

But if you like the beach, more power to ya...

enjoy it

Does anyone know if they allow surf fishing at Crandon or Haulover parks? Also, do you have to pay for parking there?

Once upon a time used to surf fish Ft. Lauderdale, but came there last winter and ended up making an unpleasnt discovery - they banned fishing between 9am-6pm for the entire stretch of the beach
