I am thinking of investing in rural land in south west Miami....

I like the Homestead and Fl city areas but I am curious about how you think the budget situation will effect the city of Miami??

I plan to work for the metro systems so naturally I am interested about how well its doing....layoffs and the like....

Bad time to be a city employee......

Do not bother. All land is priced up to ten times what it is really worth. Wages are too low for the high property prices, unless you have connections.

Will a low bid maybe 8 times lower that what is advertised be a realistic bid?

My house has dropped in value and continues to .
I should have known like most of my decisions to buy 2 yrs ago was a mistake.

Than again it is a buyers market and if your going to buy land this is the time .

I have been researching the land buys down there for about 5 years and I have seen prices drop and drop.

since I am looking at rural land I am convinced that it is far less tumultuous than single fam homes.

what about layoffs in the metro system??

is the city in trouble or hanging tough??
