wow that dude was phony as hell, no way he from liberty city. No way he can rap either.

The video showed some interesting areas though, but still nothing like what I have seen up in Gladeview, West Little River, El Portal and other completely Carribean shanty town neighborhoods. Those areas were some of the worst states of poverty I have seen in the US. Most people there though came from the Carribean and don't know any better and are used to being happy just by being able to feed their family- so while its still ugly and completely third world looking, I don't think those areas are too crime ridden, at least comparitvely speaking. Usually just hardworking, family oriented types that aren't looking for a bad rep. I think it's the slightly better looking neighborhoods full of gutta trigger happy boys rollin on 28's slangin crack that are probably worse, if u know what I mean.

east st. louis has a 2392.5 overall crime rating with 83.8 murders per capita; NOTHING in the states is higher than that my friend.

So you're just referring to the crime index/crime statistics?

Earlier I was referring to ambiguity.

I commented that it's not clear what folks were referring to by "bad".

Saying that photos show an area to be "bad" wouldn't have anything to do with crime statistics . . . unless they're pictures of crimes in progress . . . or maybe they'd have to be pictures of crime statistics.

I thought the thread was mostly about photos and what they meant to us.
