I really have to give it to some of you. The minute the words "Cuba" & "Cubans" are introduced in any thread the bash fest begins. I'm pretty sure this wouldn't happen if we replaced "Cubans" with "blacks".
So far the only rude drivers in the world are Cubans, and the most corrupt place in America is Miami and not Washington DC and Cubans such as myself don't speak English apparently!

Actually, it was rich South American males who were the bad drivers. But then some other guy said it was the Puerto Ricans. But in Boston it's the non-Hispanic whites. In Rome it's the Italians and in France, the French.

This prejudice stuff is all so complex and confusing. Maybe it's the New Zealanders....

I am spending some days in NYC and one of the most annoying things I find here is this whole "please" or "thanks" business, even when you, the client, are forced to tip the waiters here in bars and despite the fact that there is a city wide smoke ban.

When I lived in Miami the great thing about it was that it's a very much "do your own thing" city without the frills and the smiles you get in a place like NYC.
Maybe you dont see it cause your from Spain. If you guys want to really know what bad service is, come to Spain.

Definitely have to agree with you here. Went to Portugal first and the people were nice and friendly. Crossed over to Spain and the rudest people, with Madrid the worst. Prefer USA's "fake friendliness" over Spain's outright rudeness.

I wouldn't say a large population in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. South Dade and Palm Beach County have good numbers.

In other words, agricultural areas.

Madrileños are the nicest people I've encountered in ALL of Europe. Stop all the bashing and look at yourselves first. Spain RULES!!!
