Good eating in Hialeah?
OK foodies here goes: Do you know of any good restaurants in Hialeah worthy of recommending? Do you frequent any eatery in the city of progress for its ambiance, customer service, and delicious food? Please don't include fast food. Let's talk about places where you might go with the family, friends, or coworkers for fun, food, and drinks. I hope to hear from you soon. No bashing please. It's time to spend money in OUR community.
Provide address if possible.

Salvatore Pizzeria - decent Italian place located on West 84th Street a few blocks west of where West 12th Avenue crosses under the Gratigny from Hialeah to Miami Lakes. This is mainly a takeout place.
Salvatore Pizza Pasta & Subs - Hialeah, FL, 33014 - Citysearch
Di Piazza - good Italian restaurant located on West 49th Street just east of the Westland Mall. This place reminds me of Italian restaurants in NY/NJ.
Di Piazza Italian Restaurant - Hialeah FL - BooRah
Molina's Ranch - very good Cuban food located on LeJeune Road (East 8th Avenue) at East 41st Street. HIGHLY recommended for good food and service.
Molina's Ranch Restaurant - Hialeah, FL, 33013-2446 - Citysearch

Im horrible with addresses in Hialeah but Salvatore I know is great. I also ate at a seafood restaurant I think was on 122/60 St somewhere near an Elementary school, it was fantastic food and service and the atmosphere was great and not expensive at all. Wish I could remember the address.

not hialeah but in medley on 72 ave N of 74 st just to the north of the burger king at that intersection on the east side is possibly one the better quality and also more reasonably priced seafood restaurants in the area. the seafood is always fresh and the place is always packed.
I forget the name though.

Koki's is incredibkly cheap but you get what you pay for. Last time I was there with my 2 elderly aunts, the only good thing was the after dinner mint.
You have to think..5.99 for ribeye?
If you want good BBQ go to the oldest place in Hialeah, the Ranch House, on Okechobee about a block s.e. of the fountain.
Sorry i meant the hitching post. Omg senior moment lol.

My favorite was Las Delicias on W 4th Ave and South of 49th Street. I haven't been there for years but I remember that it was very good, traditional taste and cheap. The place was also very clean and quiet. Anotherone was Molina's Rach or Esquina de Tejas.

I remember never wanting to go to Las Delicias. My theory was that when I ate out, i wanted something I would not eat at home. So that basically ruled out every Cuban restaurant in Dade county. Lo and behold this institution is gone, without my having been able to partake of its good food.
