I'm looking at Miami Beach and would like to finish off this area...can someone help out with the following:
Sunset Islands
Dodge Island (is this residential?)
Very southern tip of Miami Beach up to 20th street. I know there are pockets of very nice and some so-so. Any help in breaking this down would be great!
North of W 31st to W 42nd
Little islands off the 79th St. causeway
Normandy Isles
North shores/Biscayne point area
The whole area north of Sunny Isles Blvd.
I think that will take care of the entire island chain.

Sunset Islands -- for rich people, as are Palm and Hibiscus Island (trivia fact: there is a rental apartment building on Hibiscus Island)
Dodge Island is not residential.
If you're talking about South Point to 20th street, then you're pretty much talking about all of South Beach. Most things on the water (bay or ocean) are not cheap, although with the real estate crash, you can now find some relatievely low rents.

Not residential, so don't worry about rating

Twiggers:
Something weird is going on with the map. All of the updates up to "Unknown Are 21" show on one map, but when you click "next" to see descriptions of even more areas, a new map shows with JUST the colored-in areas for those areas. Play around with it and see what I mean.
For now, though, I will give you a few more boundaries.

Thanks Miguel! I'm glad you find it helpful!!!
Crisp: I discovered the problem on Google. Unfortunately, until the map is completed, there is no way to fix it. When the map is finished I can do this: Google Maps
HAs all the same features, but it cannot be edited....but can be viewed.
For now, I'll continue to work off the original map, and maybe at the end of each day I'll post an updated collective map?!? Kind of a pain in the butt, but seems to be the only work-around.

Crisp, what is this area east of US1 called, just out of curiosity? It has some of the worst poverty I have seen in Miami, and it's located within these (otherwise glitzy) boundaries.
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=2070%2...N&hl=en&tab=wl
Check the streetview. I was stunned the first time I saw this in person. Zooming by on US1, you would never even know it was there. I used to think it was a forest.
