I checked dade education website and no matter which house I entered, it always gave out three schools. So which one will my kids school, for example, if my house will be 1213 andora ave, 33146?

Hi,
My wife and I are moving to Miami from Boston in two months. We have a six year old daughter and we are really worried about good schools.
We have used the following site to help in where we will live.
The site is "Great Schools" All you need to do is put your zip code and you will de directed to the schools in your area. You should be looking from an 8 - 10 score.

Florida schools - FL elementary, middle and high school information

We are looking at both Coral Gables and Miami Beach.
You shouls also look up the Miami Dade Public schools web site. It will direct you to the specific schools in you zip code.
Hope the above helps

I know both sites, and it works anywhere except coral gables. For coral gables, it always lists three elementary schools.

My question is if there is any way to tell which school of the three will be my kids' school.

Thanks

Yes, there is a way. You need to get into the area of the web sit. There is a place to put your street #, address, zip code. This will tell you the area of the district you children will go to. Other than that, just call the schools

I just mapped that address and it's only a few blocks from Sunset Elementary School. I'm not sure that your child will automatically get to attend Sunset, though, because I believe Coral Gables has a "Controlled Choice" program in which you can state your preference for Sunset, Coral Gables, or Carver, but this choice is subject to enrollment numbers in each school. The best thing you can do is call the Miami-Dade County School District and ask for yourself. All three Coral Gables Schools are good, but if your child can attend Sunset that would be very convenient because it's so close to your new home!
