Uruguay is 88% white non-mixed...

USA is 79% white https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat...us.html#People and many many many citizens here are considered as "white" and they are obviously mixed. USA has the largest African population among the first world countries. Even the president is mixed.

Now... what do I care about what people in USA think about Venezuelans (Many U.S. Americans can`t even locate many countries on the world map).

Many U.S. Americans think that Latin Americans = Mexicans... those people are just ignorants and I feel sorry for them...

The same goes to some U.S. Americans who consider themselves white and when they travel to Europe they find out they are not "white" in Europe.

The Venezuelan melting pot is composed by Spanish, Italians, Portuguese, Arab, German, African and Amerindian. https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat...ve.html#People

That mix created beautiful people and that`s why Venezuelan women usually win many beauty pageants.

I know that Venezuela is not white and I also know that USA is not white as well. The difference is that some U.S. americans like you get hurt when people tell them that USA is not a white country, and Venezuelans don`t care about being labeled as white or black or brown... and don`t care about colors....

WOW in that last video I never knew that anyone still used movie film for outside shots. Guess that's sort of backwards technology. From my personal experience in Miami Venezuelans tend to be self-centered but perhaps it is only the refugees, not the ones who live there.

You are right about Venezuelans... The rich ones who live in Miami belong to the most material based mini-culture I have ever seen. Narcisistic, self-centered, and money hungry round out the triumverate of top Venezuelan character traits.

Collectively, their biggest misgiving about the U.S. is that they can't find people who will clean their clothes, their house, and cook their food for less than $100 a month. I'm sure that's a BIG negative for many of them who live there. Like many rich Hispanics who come from abroad, they have an ultra-feudalistic view of where they stand in society.

I went down to Venezuela for a month...the entire country is like that.

For crime and just opportunistic crime...they were far worse than anywhere I'd been in South America - about 10 months total in South America.

I had a lot of interest in Venezuela before I went there...the country is beautiful, the people are beautiful. But there is another side to the people I didn't like - the will do anything to anyone for the sake of even just a tiny little bit of cash no matter how small.

Thanks to those rich hispanics Miami is growing... at least they actually invest in the city ....small businesses...companies..etc.

I don`t see many cubans with over $250,000 moving to Miami from Cuba.
Plus, Cubans are the ones who obtain everything for free even the GREEN CARD Wet feet, dry feet policy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia as soon as they touch US soil. Cubans are the ones who obtain federal food stamps...free federal housing...and free college education...and that REALLY HURTS the taxpayers pockets!

I agree, we must help Cubans right??? they come from a terrible country...

So, why you (Cuban American) have to talk trash about other U.S. Americans of Venezuelan background or green card holders/Investor visa holders/ etc etc...if they are the ones who actually bring $$$ to the city???

For your info, Venezuelans must have in the bank accounts over $100,000 to get even a tourist visa in order to travel to USA, and they do it by plane (the legal way and Cubans only use a boat and do it the illegal way). And for Venezuelans to get a business/investor visa they must have over $500,000 in their bank accounts as a visa requirement.

Venezuelans brought $$$ and invested and created their own banks in Miami (Commercebank- Doral based and the Banco Mercantil Venezuela which is one of the top employers in the city of CORAL GABLES). You can actually see this on the CORAL gables Website City of Coral Gables Web Site.

Next time you go to any CITGO gas station, please remember that CITGO and its refineries in the USA are the product of the Venezuelan good investment in the country. The same goes to me... when I go next time to "La Carreta Restaurant" in Calle Ocho (8th Street) or Hialeah I will remember that thanks to the Cuban investments in USA, we have those wonderfull businesses!

Ohh...also...next time you watch UNIVISION ...remember that Venezuelans are the major stockholders (owners) of the T.V. channel. Thanks to them, U.S. Americans of hispanic background (and that includes you) can enjoy this good Spanish T.V. Channel.

What can I say??? you were talking trash about the people that actually bring a benefit to the city....

You're talking about Caracas.
The rest of the country is different.
Merida, for example, nice.
I don't know now with Chavez and "la chusmera".
Try Santa Marta, Colombia, nice, no crime, gorgeous sights.
Cuba is also nice, but a complicated place if you've got an American Passport.

We did a lot better without their dirty money. If they all left and re-invested in their own countries I would say "good riddance" and praise them for trusting in their own homeland for a change. However, Latin Americans seem unable to govern themselves and we are suffering the same fate now in the USA.

MERIDA...I wanted to go there! I got jumped in Barquisimeto by a bunch of guys...which prevented me from getting to Merida.

But yeah, I was mostly in Caracas...and some real crime-infested place...Barquismeto had nice people who helped me out after I got robbed, but too many shifty people. Caracas was a pit for people...the worst. Just too many thieves and crimes occurring even from the police.

Maybe I didn't have my guard up as much as spent 10 months in South AMerica beforehand...six in Brazil...and I seemed to get by without experiencing any crime against my person, just the odd pickpocket here and there...Barquisimeto Venezuela was the only crime that occurred to me, so real down on it....and Caracas I kept hearing of my fellow hotel mates who were getting robbed...one group even got robbed by the police in Caracas.

But I heard all good things about Merida...I also went to the coast and it was real nice...wish I'd made it to Merida though. I also still want to get to Cartagena and Santa Marta in Colombia even more. It's beautiful in that part of the world.

Yeah...Venezuela is very unsafe... that`s why I left the country..and that`s why the middle class, and the upper class is migrating to Europe, Texas, and Miami. The country is in total chaos thanks to the ugly monkey CHAVEZ. I wish someone kill him... but he has the Cuban intelligence (Bodyguards) who are really really good trained watching his back....

I really really hate that monkey.

Dirty money??? this money isn`t dirty...

I would love Venezuelans to use their investments in Venezuela..that would be great.... but venezuelans like to invest in USA like the rest of the other citizens of the world...arabs, europeans, etc etc... laws are actually enforced in this country.
USA is suffering an economic crisis right now but remember that this country is the most powerful in the world. This crisis will be over soon...the U.S. currency is actually gaining value over the EURo... in other words..if you go to Europe you can buy more products with your $$$ compared to last year.

There is nothing wrong with foreigners investing in USA.... that`s great for the country..it creates jobs and businesses...

And don`t blame U.S. Americans (hispanics background) of this crisis... this crisis was created by many factors....the greatest of them was the Billions...maybe trillions invested in this stupid war over the years. (thanks to Bush who went to war against the wrong country...IRAQ was not involved in 911)...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trOdCU6aZOg (A must see)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLHI0b43xa4 (A must see)

One factor of this crisis is that the world`s wealth is being distributed among new superpowers..such as China and Brazil. Brazil is about to become a first world country and China has over a billion people and their middle class which is super hugemongous (greater than the total population of USA) is suddenly buying cars..etc etc and growing....

Remember...there are limited resources/wealth in the world for the worlds citizens... and NOT all the countries can be rich at the same time...it`s a GLOBAL MARKET...if a country is becoming richer...other becomes poorer.... it`s like a local market in your city...if Walmart sells more...Target have less profits... etc....

So...the thing is that the wealth is now being distributed differently in the world (China + India + Brazil = new economies growing).... that`s why USA is in crisis. (Its really not a crisis...USA is still the only military and aconomic world super power).

Peace
