I love Italy. I love many of the towns south of Naples. With that said, Naples itself is the worst European city I have ever visited. It's dirty, it has a very high unemployment rate, a high crime rate, and it is just very dreary and run-down. The pizza, however, is divine For a big city, I would recommend to you Florence or Rome.

Crisp
I know, I was being "hyperbolic".
The problem in Naples is that there are no jobs.
No industry.
Jobs are up north, Milano, Torino.
Awful places, rainy, humid, expensive.

For living and working, I would say Madrid and Paris. For relaxing/vacation, I would have to say the regions of Provence (France) and the Amalfi Coast (Italy).
In the United States, my favorite places are Manhattan/Brooklyn, Boston/Cambridge/Brookline, San Francisco/Napa/Sonoma, and Miami/Keys.
I'm glad you enjoyed my photos

This is a beach very near to the place where we have our rural summer house dating to the times we were peasants. It's called Miami Playa.
The water now is cold as hell. Only for drunk tourists..

Naples is like a third world city in the middle of South Italy; WHAT a DUMP and , after reading Roberto Savianno's book Gamorra I think I would never again set foot there. Now, Crisp, do you want to see a beautiful Italian city? Go to Bellagio near Milan; the perfect gateway to a romantic weekend, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE .

A suicidal idea.
Do you read the papers?
Haven't you read about Italy's problems with immigration?
Haven't you read about Berlusconi's measures (I'm in favour of Berlusconi).
Don't you know that European countries are paying enormous amounts of money to send immigrants back to their countries, even paying travel and unemployment compensation?
Did you read about riots in Rome against immigrants?
As to Argentineans obtaining Italian citizenship, the Spanish Government protested because all those Argentineans end up here, in Spain, and there's no job for them here.
Europe wants doctors, qualified engineers and that's about it. I guess that you are none of the above.
Are you planning to be one of those Argentineans that sell postcards and religious medals in the Foro and the Vatican, in Rome, to Spanish speaking tourists?
If you don't like the US, you should try your country.

True. Also remember the tons of Spaniards who immigrated to Argentina and because of their ignorance were called "Dumb Gallegos" [origin of Gallego jokes, equivalent to Polish jokes]. Better stay here in the USA or in your own country.
