Agreed again- this place has alot of work to do- ever since the $85000 graffitti signs last year things have slowly been rolling faster downhill than they ever were before.

Then head for Utopia.
High up there, in the mountains, after crossing nameless rivers, countless mountain passes, youl'll find Arcadia, a place where all humans beings only care for he welfare of their neigbours....
You people belong to the XVIIIth Century.
Voltaire, Rousseau and the Enciclopedist, the ones that created your country and the ideas that created the most magnificent text in the history of mankind, The American Constitution, would have been proud of you.
Keep the dream alive.

what does any of that have to do with the fact that this place is ranked lower than most cities on every terrible poll there is? some of us are stuck here- and dont need "utopia" we just need some changes- and the answer isnt always "move".

I know you weren't pointing at me, I was just trying to understand what you consider so over blown. For the most part, I don't think people have over blown most of these things.

Top 5 Narcissistic City - 100% TRUE - I can understand this one, I wouldn't consider this one over blown. We aren't #1 in this Country, that goes to LA, but we are in the Top 5 for sure.

Top 5 cities where you don't even have to know English to get by - 100% TRUE - You know this is 100% true. Plenty of people in Miami don't know how to speak English and they get by just fine.

Top 5 cities with the highest rate of murder-suicides - FALSE and NOT SURE - I can't find the numbers this minute. But I can bet we aren't in the Top 5 of suicides. But murder rate, we could be???? NOLA is probably 1, Detroit is probably 2, LA is probably 3

Top 5 "dumbest" cities in the US -Both TRUE and FALSE - The graduation rates for Miami-Dade County public schools is pretty low overall. I know people that graduated from Miami-Dade Public Schools and couldn't read. And a majority of the population (over 50%) don't go on to college. But with that said, an education doesn't exactly make someone smart.

Top 5 "ugly" cities - TRUE and FALSE - The City of Miami, overall has some unattractive parts to it. So yes the City of Miami would be in the Top 5. But overall Miami-Dade County isn't in the Top 5 US ugly cities, maybe top 10.

Top 5 overdeveloped US cities - 100% TRUE - There isn't much farm land left in our County. Developers in the last 10 years have belt homes so close to one another and almost out to the glades.

Top 5 most vain/superficial cities in the US - 100% TRUE - This one we do make the Top 5 Vain Cities in the US. LA, NYC, MIAMI #3.

Don't you think THIS is just a little overexagerrated. As if Miami is the ONLY city with superficial and obnoxious people, as if being obnoxious and superficial is ONLY a Miami thing, rather then a HUMAN thing. And I even said I CAN understand why somone may not like Miami, I understand why YOU dont like it. It makes alot of sense to me, my thing is when people OVEREXAERRATE things and paint everyone like a 3rd world criminal. As if all the 2.5million people that live in Dade County are illegals and drug dealers like this is some kind of scarface movie. But if you dont like Miami I completely understand. Im not saying you went overboard

Miami is exciting...the rest of Florida is boring...

I have never been robbed in Florida. I`ve heard about isolated cases when drunk women are raped at South beach during late hours in Nikki Beach (nightclubs) etc etc...and that`s because it is impossible to receive millions of tourists in this city and have a crime rate simmilar to other cosmopolitan areas of USA who are probably not a tropical destination. (There is alcohol, young adults looking for sex Women and Men, clubs, the beach, etc etc etc)...

Don`t blame just the locals in Miami for the high crime rate... many of these crimes are commited by tourists who come here to party, and that includes Americans from other cities and foreigners from overseas.
That's what my ancestors had to accomplish!

But see some of what I said was true right, some of that stuff was overblown wasn't it, and some people compare Miami to 3rd world cities, I know you didnt, but others have many, many times, dont you think comments like that are little overblown?

These list mean absolutely nothing. Unless you belive that cincinatti has the worst neighborhood in the entire country. Most people from their respected cities don't even belive the neighborhoods that were listed were the worst ones in the city. What goes up will come down.
