Look, a suspect house. Miramar.
Probably confiscated to a Camagüeyano, the large clay jars, "tinajones".
I'll find out. No worries. But I believe it IS true that anything not falling apart is reserved for high ranking govt folks and for embassies.

What kind of car is that? Year?

I'm not good at cars, but it looks like some Korean car.
Oh, yes, many people manage to restore houses, not gov't officials.
There are some large houses in private hands, some belong to rich people that did not leave the country, for example, Tarafa, Arechabala, Prio's family, etc.
I have family there and one of them owned a very large manor in Vibora, but she died and the house now belongs to her maid. Of course, the place is falling down and packed with peasants.
The problem with those large houses is that you have to be a millionaire to keep them, and the state ends up taking them, swapping them for smaller houses or apartments in Vedado.

This house here, in La Vibora, is inhabited by the original owners (some, since most are in "North Havana").
The family up north helps to keep the house in relatively good conditions.
The area is "iffy" now, many cubaton lovers.
Of course, the appearance is somewhat jaded.

Just trying to sound more "ghetto." (because we all know that anywhere west of US1 is becoming the Bronx.)

Lovely pictures, but how did a thread about "Spanish speaking ghettos" in Miami-Dade turn into a tour of Cuba?

Do you have any pictures of your area of Hialeah (near Miami Springs, right)?
