One night on Miami Beach, what to do?
Hi Miami,
I have a friend coming to Miami for a cruise. She will be staying at the Ocean Spray Hotel Miami Beach for a night. Can you give some ideas for sightseeing and restaurants. Also, any thoughts on the hotel?
They are a group of 4 with a 21 yr old and a 14 yr. old so clubs are out.
They will be going to the beach. They also expressed interest in finding the Miami Ink tattoo parlor. Has anyone been to the Versace Mansion for Dinner?
I just moved to Broward so I am of no help.
Thanks.

Vacation in Miami Beach
Miami is a nice place to live in Florida. Miami Beach is fabulous in Ocean Drive. Last me and my friends were spending our time in Miami Beach. We enjoyed well. We stayed in the "Winter Haven Hotel ". It is magnificent; It is right across from the beach. Very quaint and quiet but within walking distance to all of the popular attractions for club-goers and shoppers.

Walk up Lincoln road and find a place to eat. There are many resturants most are great. My favorite would be Next Cafe, it is not expensive gives large portions and has good food and a lot of different types of food. Ocean Drive would be a must to walk up and down also but I think the food on Lincoln Road better and less expensive. The Miami Ink place in on Alton Road and I think 14th around there that is a little bit of a walk from Lincoln Road but its not too bad. There is really not much to see it is just a tattoo place a drive by should be fine. Just walk around the Miami Beach area, Washington Ave, Collins Ave, Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive.

Rock Newman brings up a good point.....lincoln road is very cool. Step into Twist to see how the other half parties....and eat at TOUCH ! Amazing bar and restaurant.....something "live" always happening.
BED is highly recommended as well, but Touch is pretty amazing.

I just had to do the same thing the other night when I stayed one night in Miami Beach. I would start off walking east down Lincoln road Mall. Then eat anywhere on Espanola Street. Then walk east to ocean drive and walk down south. It's better to people watch on Ocean Drive.
