Use this thread to complain about Hispanics in Miami (different from other parts of the country so it can't go in P&OC), or come up with a counterpoint to the complaints.

I've been living in Miami for about a year now. The gap between how Miami is portrayed on this site and how I've experienced the city is very large.

The Hispanics are fine. Sure, on balance the Cubans are a tad more loud than other groups but BFD.

Uh....I outright object to this thread. Period.

This should really be locked/deleted, it's just asking for trouble.

Your probably right, but a simple relocation thread in the Miami forum never fails to turn into some form of discussion about Hispanics, so why not let the relocation threads be dedicated to relocation?

How do you know they are Cubans?
Do they wear a red scarlett or something?
Do you speak Spanish and distinguish their accent?

This is the stupidest thread I've ever seen. Why don't you make one that talks about narrow minded Americans that complain about new immagrants to this country because they forgot that their ancestors went through the same thing. Oh wait you already did.

The irony is that very few people will actually respond to this.

But start a new thread on almost any other topic and it will decompose into another 'the-Hispanics-are-disrepectful-and-speak-no-English' diatribe.
