Looking for Recommendation for Audi Repairs in Miami
I am looking for someone to fix the A/C in my Audi. I don't want to go to the dealer and get ripped off. Does anyone have recommendations for a good shop near Miami Beach? Likewise, does anyone have a list of shops I should avoid at all costs?
Thanks!!!

Unfortunately, I don't know if any places on Miami Beach, but I do know of a couple of reputable places.
Don't know if they work on Audi's or if they're even still around, but Hurricane Auto in South Miami (right behind South Miami Hospital) is/was great. They were always honest and did good work.

Also had friends who loved Smutny & Ross in Palmetto Bay. They would often purchase their own parts and these guys would install, which would sometimes come out cheaper, esp if you could find the part you needed in salvage.

My dad also knew of a guy who worked on AC exclusively and did mine once when I thought all hope was gone. I can't remember his name right now, but I'll try to find his info for you.
Best of luck! Lots of snakes out there, but luckily my father was always involved with cars and knew enough people that we never got "bitten".

Thanks Miamiblue! It's too funny that someone who now lives in my other city would answer me first on the Miami Forum!
If you could get that name from your dad, I'd really appreciate it. I intend to drive to Raleigh with that car in June and certainly don't want to do it without an air conditioner! :-) BTW, rep points coming your way if the system will let me!
...just tried to give you rep points and it said that I must spread them around before giving you more. Darn!
