Ok - enough!!! I couldn't even get past pg 5 before wanting to jump into the forum & strangle half of you!!!
Chelito & Cixel - my old "friends" we meet again...

Ok - anyone from a "real" CITY - NY, Philly, Detroit, Chicago - will like Miami! (Unless they absolutely hate the whole "vibe" of those places - but then why would you move to Miami???)

ANY big city is THE SAME - TONS OF TRAFFIC, TONS OF CRIME, RUDENESS
This is just so funny!!!! It's UN FREAKIN REAL!!!!!!!!!!
I have lived here for 13 YEARS!!!
I am white! I don't speak spanish. I'm not rich. I don't party.
I love it here!!!!!!
Guess where I'm FROM...
NY!!!!!!!
Guess where I have considered moving many times...
DETROIT!!!!!
Get the connection there???
If you are used to city life & all that comes with it,
Miami is THE SAME but with WARM WEATHER!!!!!
Forget the west coast - different animal.
Been there, done that.
NO comparrison!!!
Miami is a great city.
I too will chip in to ship ya'll back!
Ay Caramba!!!!

Oh - and regarding the "prettiness" (you can just hear that west coast whine in that adjective to describe a state )
FL has CA beat HANDS DOWN!!!!!!
REREAD IT!!!!!
I have been up the PCH...
Not impressed...
FL is a BEAUTIFUL state.
CA is just the west coast (aka the wrong coast )...
Although you do have Death Valley which is AWESOME!!!!!!!

Oh - & the heat thing - yes I have hung out many times with no ac - by CHOICE!
AC is why people in a warm climate get SICK!!! Need to cool off? SWEAT!!!
Coughing sneezing sniveling sore thoat = AC (or cold weather) duh

This last statement comes from someone who thinks June, July and August are Miami's best weather months!
