I was on a rant but there was a point to it.

In Miami there is a widespread 'swindler mentality'. People screw each other a lot here, more than in other cities. Latin immigrant cliques have perfected many types of fraud, and many who live in Miami are masters of the 'slip and fall' art.

I think the recent real estate boom shows us how so many of these people took 'flipping' houses much farther than the average American in other parts of the country. Different modes of fraud/deceit come and go, but I think the most recent (the RE bandwagon) just proves how many greedy people there are in Miami.

Ethnic fraud/scams are so rampant in Miami I decided to make a list of the professions that are so often proven to be clandestine factories of deceit.

-Medical Insurance fraud - often involves medicare/medicaid

-Life insurance fraud - often involves an abuela and a house off Bird Rd.

-'Whitch doctor' fraud - the doctor with a license from Cuba or somewhere else but NOT America - very common in Miami

-Mortgage broker fraud - crack pot scammers who peddle exotic loans - often to family and friends

-Real estate fraud - people who took the "2-week course" to get a RE license - the number of these people in Miami was once disturbingly high

-Building contractor fraud - Scumbags who use stolen equipment/hike up fake bids/never finish jobs/cut corners - I saw this A LOT in Miami

LOL, Cuba Libre, I cannot stop laughing about the Miami-fraud professions; so true, but hey, you missed one, weed farmer, WAO, You should know that this is a growing career here in Miami. By the way, Did you come back from Chicago? Geez, In your last posts seem like you got into something with a MS-13 or La Raza member.

I never said Tampa feels like Latin America. Never. Orlando has the Latin America/NJ feel and Tampa has the NE/Midwestern feel to it.

The Spanish speaking issue is mostly limited to parts of East Orlando, and some other places like Kissimme. In the rest of Orlando area it's not an issue.

"Man, I wish! Jax has some southerness to it for sure, but Orlando and/or Tampa? Nah... on the outskirts maybe, but overall, it's more Northern/Midwestern and Latin feeling."

Most people I know here are either from NY/NJ or Latin America. Or a combination of the two.

Yea maybe children because of Disney, I have not met any adult that speaks favorably about Orlando here in NJ. When you mention Orlando the first thing that comes to their mind is low wages.
