If you're curious about where your high schooler needs to do to attend a good college, ask away!

I am a Junior at the University of Southern California (GO TROJANS!)with a major of Biochemistry and a minor in Physics. I will be going to Harvard Med after I graduate.

I fought my way to the top and now I want to help/edify the parents.

So ask away your hardest questions.

Thats great man. That is A LOT of school though. I could never do that much school. I'm graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy a couple years ago. It was either that or the Naval Academy. I made 6 figures straight out of USMMA.

Default to wildcat

I study best when I talk with my friends. They provide comic relief and when we joke around about certain key terms or things we need memorizing, it really sticks better.

First of all, no offense to you personally, but I have not met a Harvard grad that I have liked. Don't let the experience change your basic good nature, if you have one. That's my advice to you.

Secondly, I think it is kind of presumptuous on your end to assume that those of us who have had to settle for the dregs of non-Ivy league higher education are not be capable of offering similar advice to parents on how to excel academically or select an appropriate venue for college. You have not even finished your studies at Harvard and have already assumed the ego. Nice.

Exclamation to Lost in translation

Ha whoa calm down...

This post isn't about who's smart and who's not. It's about how I want to help parents or students get to their goal, with techniques that I have found useful. I'm sorry if the post sounded arrogant .

To be honest, I hate Harvard Med's campus haha. I only accepted because I'm on a research scholarship since my family could not afford the tuition.

If you disagree with my advice or anything else let me know
